Please remember that when carrying your baby you have a responsibility to wear your sling safety. While we cannot anticipate every possible scenario, we have put together some tips designed to get you thinking about this important topic...most of all, listen to your instincts and use that all-important common sense. When wearing any of our slings please make sure that your baby is correctly positioned by carefully following all instructions provided specifically for your carrier. When putting on or adjusting your sling or when bending over remember to hold your baby securely.
When using your sling for the first time you make sure that another adult is present to assist you. The person helping you can make sure that your baby is secure and give you reassurance that you are doing it correctly. You may wish to practise using your sling on a soft surface. You are bigger when you are baby carrying, so make sure that you allow extra space when mobile to avoid bumping your baby’s body in to furniture or other obstacles. You will not be able to use your baby carrier in certain situations, such as when cooking.
As always, make sure that your baby’s face remains uncovered and that they have space to breathe properly.
